Mixu Paatelainen: “Kazakhstan has individually strong and fast players, so we will try not to give them lead to possess the ball”

- What can you say about the national team of Kazakhstan? What are the strengths and weaknesses?

- The national team of Kazakhstan is a very fast and dangerous team. The main squad are mostly from "Astana" and "Kairat". It means that they have been playing with each other for a long time. We can say that your team is like a club. Our team was preparing to play in a balanced manner both in attack and defense. I note that Kazakhstan has very strong individual players. I think that the match will be difficult.

- If we talk about your match against Andorra, the Latvia national team made many crosses to the penalty area, but failed to score a goal. In the game with Georgia, you mostly played on counterattacks. What is your game plan with Kazakhstan?

 - Of course, we have prepared for this match. The national team of Kazakhstan is a very dangerous team, therefore, first of all, we should play an organized defense. But we should not forget about the attacks, which will be prepared and effective. We want to play in the end better than did with Andorra. The rivals have individually strong and fast players, so we will fight for the ball. I think, against Kazakhstan, with such strong, athletic and fast players, we have to show our strongest qualities. Our players are ready. Everything looks great. But only tomorrow we will see how ready they  are.
