FIFA President visits Football House

Gianni Infantino was presented with the concept of the new pitches at the KFF national training center at Talgar, which have been built with the support of the FIFA Forward development programme, as well as plans for infrastructure development in Kazakhstan.

FIFA President visited the office of the Kazakhstan Football Federation and was presented with the concept of the new pitches at the KFF national training center at Talgar. As part of the FIFA Forward development programme, three football pitches and training base were built, which were named after the outstanding football players of Kazakhstan, who had made a huge contribution to the development of domestic football - Seilda Baishakov and Serik Zheilitbaev. In addition, Kazakhstan Football Federation has named the national training center pitch after Pele.

FIFA has suggested that all FIFA’s Member Associations each name at least one stadium or football venue after the Brazilian legend who passed away on 29 December 2022.

Gianni Infantino thanked KFF President Adlet Barmenkulov for supporting the initiative to pay homage to Pelé by naming one of the pitches.
