New stadium and several football fields are planned to build in Aktau

The KFF head noted the importance of the football field renovation program together with UEFA to improve the infrastructure. It was also announced the construction of football fields in two villages of the Mangystau region to develop the football skills of rural youth.

During the meeting, the akim of the Mangystau region and the president of the KFF discussed the measures taken to implement the tasks for the development of grassroots in the region. Adlet Barmenkulov outlined the main programs implemented in the region.

“According to the instructions of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the development of grassroots in the regions is a priority for the federation. Our joint pitch renovation program with UEFA aims to improve football infrastructure. We are committed to making football more accessible through new and refurbished football pitches. Together with the leadership of the region, we plan to do a lot of work for implementation of the program. We also planned the construction of football fields in two villages in the Mangistau region. As part of the Football in Villages program, rural youth will have the opportunity to develop their football skills,” said the KFF President.

Another important direction in the development of football in the regions will be to improve the quality of football club management.

“I am pleased to announce that the Caspiy Football Club will become the first of six clubs participating in the KFF program to improve the competence of football managers. This program is designed to increase the level of professionalism in the management of football clubs,” added Adlet Barmenkulov.

Nurlan Nogaev stressed the importance of promoting a healthy lifestyle.

“Caring for the health of the population is our key task, so it is important to actively promote mass sports and develop the appropriate infrastructure.

The akimat of the region is carrying out systematic work to increase sports facilities and modernize existing ones, funds have been allocated to replace the coating at the Zhas Kanat stadium, and a project is being developed to build a stadium near the sports complex of the Caspiy football club in the 4th microdistrict. All this will allow young people and fans to improve their sports potential. This is also an important issue that should be paid close attention to,” said Nurlan Nogaev.
