UEFA Grassroots Week in Semey

Young pupils of sports schools of the region will compete in several football tournaments. As a part of the UEFA Grassroots Week, the games of the Children's Cup "Zolotaya Osen", the city tour of the National Football League, as well as the final of the city tournament "Kozhany Myach" will take place in Semey. More than 25 children's teams will participate in the sporting events.

"Traditionally in Semey, football events attract a large number of children and young people. They love football and  take part in tournaments with a great desire. And we have all the necessary conditions for this "- says Stanislav Lesiv, the main referee of the tournament ''Kozhany Myach".

Roman Bogdanov, participant of the competition: "We are glad that we have the opportunity to play football and show our skills. I would like to express my gratitude to the organizers and wish that there would be more such tournaments."

The week of the UEFA Grassroots Week will last in Semey until September 30.
