UEFA Share Workshop Held in Almaty
The main goal of the seminar is to share knowledge and experience on the development of football. The participants of the seminar had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge about the different types of football for people with special needs, as well as their requirements and opportunities.
The seminar was attended by delegations from Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Kazakhstan. The lecturers were experts from UEFA - Helen Croft, Les Howey, Vladimir Luptak and Jeff Davis.
During the workshop, the participants gained valuable knowledge about various aspects of inclusive football, including adapting the game for different groups of people with special needs, teaching methods, organizing competitions and creating a strong infrastructure for the development of football for people with special needs. Specialists and experts in the field of Disability football provided the participants with valuable insights and examples of best practices from various countries.
Launched in 2019, the UEFA Share program is aimed to advance football through intensive knowledge sharing between football professionals. The UEFA Share Workshop in Almaty, dedicated to the development of Disability football, highlighted the importance of promoting and supporting football for people with special needs. This seminar is one of the main stages in the implementation of grassroots football development projects in accordance with the Strategy 2034.
