KFF has renovated new field in Qyzylorda
The solemn opening ceremony of the renewed field was attended by representatives of the regional administration, the KFF leadership, the national football team, sports journalists and project partners.
"In order to develop grassroots, we are building fields in the cities of Kazakhstan. We are glad that a new field has now appeared in Qyzylorda. This region has given the country a lot of talented footballers, and I am sure that here will still grow world-class players. Our task is to create conditions for children who will be engaged in football. I congratulate everyone!” the KFF president Adlet Barmenkulov said.
KFF project on renovation of football fields ALAÑ started in 2023. The 3-year project is supported by UEFA. The main goal is to improve the quality of the sports infrastructure and develop grassroots football in the country.
"In 2023-2024 in Qyzylorda region 15 sports facilities were put into operation, construction of a new stadium for 10 thousand spectators began. Indeed, we only benefit from the implementation of the ALAÑ project.The new field was renovated in just one month. We believe that future champions will play here, who will represent our country in future.We express our gratitude to the KFF president Adlet Barmenkulov and thanks to such support Kazakhstani sport will develop”, the deputy head of the Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of Qyzylorda region Zhiger Aiekeshov added.
As part of the ALAÑ project for 2023-2025 it is planned to renovate 20 football fields in the country. Earlier 10 fields were put into operation in Almaty, Shymkent, Aktobe, Petropavl, Oskemen, Ayagoz, Aksu, Balkhash, Zhezkazgan and Zhetysu region. The fields in Atbasar and Saran are also planned to open this week.
