Expanded squad for 2026 World Cup matches against Wales and Liechtenstein

Acting head coach of Kazakhstan national team Ali Aliyev has announced his expanded list of players called up for the 2026 World Cup qualifying matches against Wales (22 March) and Liechtenstein (25 March).

The list includes 36 players.

Goalkeepers: Muhammedjan Seisen (Astana), Aleksandr Zarutskiy, Temirlan Anarbekov (Kairat), Stas Pokatilov (Sabah, Azerbaijan), Dulat Talyspaev (Kege, Denmark)

Defenders: Alibek Kasym (Aktobe), Aleksandr Marochkin, Yan Vorogovskiy, Marat Bystrov (Astana), Nuraly Alip (Zenit, Russia), Roman Asrankulov (Tobol), Erkin Tapalov (Kairat), Ular Zhaksybaev, Sultanbek Astanov (Ordabasy), Adilbek Zhumakhanov (Elimai), Madi Hasein (Zhenis)

Midfielders: Askhat Tagybergen (Ordabasy), Ramazan Orazov (Silkeborg, Denmark), Baktiyer Zainutdinov (Besiktas, Turkey), Elkhan Astanov (Astana), Islam Chesnokov, Nauryzbek Zhagorov (Tobol), Serikzhan Muzhikov, Zhan Ali Payruz (Elimai), Galymzhan Kenzhebek (Kosice, Slovakia), Aliyar Mukhamed (Okzhetpes), George Zhukov (Puszcza, Poland), Dinmukhamed Karaman (Zhenis), David Esimbekov (Zhetysu)

There possible changes in the squad until the final list is determined. 

In March, the Kazakhstan national team will hold two away matches. 22 March, Kazakhstan will play against the national team of Wales, and a day later will play against the national team of Liechtenstein.
